Plasma Before After 1

Is it safe?

Yes, the Plasma Eye Lift at Harley Ultrasound is perfectly safe. Only our trained therapists use the HD Plasma Spark Pen that conducts the Plasma Eye Lift. Furthermore, the equipment is CE certified.

Is it painful?

This is an important Plasma Eye Lift FAQ. It is likely that you will experience a mild stinging sensation when the Plasma Spark Pen vaporises the skin and forms tiny micro-holes. However, this varies from person to person depending on a person’s skin sensitivity. Before the procedure, our therapists will apply numbing cream to reduce any discomfort.

The best way to determine this is to come in for a Plasma Eye Lift consultation, where our therapists can conduct a patch test. This involves creating a micro-hole on your skin so you can judge how it feels and if you want to have the full treatment done.

How does the treatment work?

The Plasma Eye Lift works by using plasma (ionised gases) to vaporise the skin and form tiny micro-holes in the surface layer of the skin. For more information about this Plasma Eye Lift FAQ, visit our Plasma Eye Lift Science page.

How long does it take?

The Plasma Eye Lift lasts roughly 30 minutes. The treatment time may vary depending on whether you are treating both your upper and lower eyelid. It is important to note that you must arrive at our Harley Ultrasound clinic at least 30 minutes before the start of your procedure so the numbing cream has enough time to take effect.

What are the side effects?

After the Plasma Eye Lift at Harley Ultrasound, it is common to experience redness and irritation in the treatment area. However, this normally fades within a few days. Some clients may notice swelling, but this will vary depending on the sensitivity of the area. The micro-holes remain visible for a few days following the treatment, though these will generally fade within two weeks.

When will I see results?

Some clients notice immediate results after the Plasma Eye Lift. For the majority of our clients, results will become visible within the first two weeks after the treatment. Results vary from person to person.

Do I need to do anything after the treatment?

This is a Plasma Eye Lift FAQ that must not be ignored. To reduce any chances of irritation in the target area following the Plasma Eye Lift, clients must use a broad spectrum sun cream on the area for around six weeks, as well as avoiding direct sunlight. It is crucial that clients also avoid sunbeds through the healing process. Clients must refrain from picking at the scabs that form over the micro-holes after the procedure, as this may lead to scarring.
