Many of our clients express a desire to get rid of wrinkles and crow’s feet around the eye area. At Harley Ultrasound, we aim to offer treatments that meet our clients’ needs. Our RF Eye Lift successfully reduces the appearance of signs of ageing around the eyes in a non-invasive treatment that uses radio frequency technology. Read below for answers to common RF Eye Lift FAQ so you can get to know more about the treatment.
Is it safe?
Yes. The RF Eye Lift is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment that uses radio waves. As this treatment focuses on the sensitive area around the eyes, we use technology that allows us to control the temperature of heat produced by the radio waves. Rest assured, our equipment is CE certified.
Is it painful?
No. We use radio frequency technology specifically because it is safe and comfortable. Some people may find the feeling of the heat uncomfortable as it is close to the eye. If this is the case, then let your therapist know, and they may be able to adjust the treatment to make it more comfortable.
How does the treatment work?
The RF Eye Lift uses bi-polar radio frequencies to lift and tighten the skin around the eyes. This is achieved by reactivating collagen fibres within the skin. Find out more about this RF Eye Lift FAQ by looking at our RF Eye Lift Science page.
How long does the procedure last?
The procedure lasts about 30 minutes.
Are there any side effects?
It is completely normal for the area to feel tender and appear slightly red after the treatment, especially when treating the eye area where the skin is sensitive and thinner in some places. However, this will fade within a few days following the treatment.
Do I need to do anything after the procedure?
No. However, you may benefit from applying C-TOX Serum to the area once a day following the treatment. This aids the repair and growth of collagen, helping you to achieve the best results possible from the RF Eye Lift.
How many sessions do I need?
This is a good RF Eye Lift FAQ. Many clients see results from only one session of the RF Eye Lift. However, depending on how your skin reacts to the treatment, some people may need more than one treatment to reduce visible signs of ageing effectively. The number of sessions and what kind of results you can expect will be discussed in consultation before the procedure.
